My entire writing process · 10:48pm Jan 22nd, 2014
Today, I've noticed that I've been writing on a formula lately...
Me: "I should write something now."
"Should I write some fanfiction? Or maybe get around to doing that novel? Nope, I'll just write something for MLP."
*opens blank document, stares at it for 10 minutes*
"Oh who am I kidding? No one cares about the stuff I write, it's all medicre garbage! There's no point... but how will I get better if I don't write?"
...
"Okay, I'll start off by writing a page, then I'll continue some other time."
*Spends 20 minutes contemplating what to write, finally comes up with idea*
"It was a dark and stormy night..."
...
"Whew, I think I've done enough writing for today, I'll just pick up where I left off tomorrow. I'm gonna go do something productive"
*Closes document*
Yeah, the sad thing is, on somedays, this is a pretty literal portrayal of my writing, only with more self doubting. This explains why I write and update so slowly. Too bad there's nothing I can do about it. *sigh*. I blame my writing abilities.

I tried writing like that once. I ended up getting human words instead. Ugh, it was frustrating.

You have not yet mastered the art of keyoard smacking.
Clearly, you still have much to learn.
I don't think your stuff is garbage.

Thank you.
Maybe it isn't, and I usually don't think so until I start writing. I'm weird like that, sometimes I don't doubt the quality of my work at all, and sometimes I do.
