100th Blog Post Special!!!
Because one does not simply rock into Equestria
Well guys, it has almost been two years since I first joined this website. It's kinda funny when you think about things in terms of time. A lot of things are put in perspective, and I get to look back at how far my writing has come in terms of skill and content. Granted, I only have like three stories to go off of, but I haven't had much time for these things in the chaotic storm my life has been in the past two years, but now things are looking up, and I'm glad you all stuck around through it with me! So yes, this is my 100th Blog Post Special! What does that mean exactly? Well, nothing too big unfortunately since I am still trying to complete my work for quite a few stories at the moment. Anyway, to celebrate my 100th blog post and almost 2 year anniversary, I wanted to do something special with you guys!
Game Night:
On February 1st at 1700 MST, a group of buddies and I will be playing the free-to-play MOBA strategy game, League of Legends! If you do not already have an account, please let me know and I will send you a code to get you some free shiz!
There will be drunken merriment all around so, sober or not, feel free to join us as we take on the world in the most awe-inspiring ways! This weekends theme is Solar Empire v Lunar Republic, with which we play dominion with one team being led by Diana and the other being led by Leona! 
The rules of this game are simple, as long as the leader is alive, their team can leave spawn to go out and fight for the cause. However, if your leader is defeated, the game becomes an extermination match (if you die, you must stay at base until all others are dead as well).
Writing Contest:
Now here is something interesting! I issue to all of you a challenge of the highest caliber! Make me a one-shot romance story between any two characters, one of which have seen less then 1-5 episodes of airtime (this means villains, background ponies, or one-offs such as Braeburn and Cherry as free game). First Place will receive a $25 Amazon Gift Card! I know right? You're that much closer to getting that Kindle you've always wanted! Why a romance, you may ask? Well, I am a hopeless romantic and I like to D'aww at cute displays of affection. Sue me Plz.
The Rules:
1. Pairings must follow the aforementioned parameters and be a stand alone, meaning that I don't have to read another story to understand what is going on.
2. No incest, princest, wincest, etc. This means no AppleMac, CelLuna, or anything of the sort
3. No foalcon (child relationships) aside from cute little schoolhouse things. If they are grown up, you must be able to explain how they got there.
4. No explicit content. Hints at such things are fine, but further than that is unacceptable
5. Must have an appropriate cover image for the story. If you don't know what I mean, then just make it safe for the kiddies.
6. Must be a minimum of 2000 words. Use this to develop your characters and show their bond. D'aww moments will award you extra points.
7. All stories must be submitted here in the comments section below. Stories that do not follow this rule will be ignored.
8. Must be started after today and submitted by February 12th. I hope to have the results ready by Valentines day, so the sooner you get them in, the better off you and I will be!
9. If you were inspired by something in particular, please include it in the long description of your story! I like to know these things.
Since I do not have the proper funding, this contest will follow the rules of Ricky Bobby,

If all goes as planned, expect the next chapter of Becoming Whole to be released on Tuesday Night! Speaking of which, I should get back to it...

I feel that, in order to show romantic development, a 3500 word minimum is necessary. However, I will decrease it to 2000 words.

It’s a strange sort of comfort, knowing that no matter what I write, it will never be as awesome as that first image.
