Warning: Rant ahead.
Celestia, my little brother can be annoying.
He is a nerd. So am I. We proudly display our nerdiness in our artistic pursuits. He does fanart, and I do fanfiction. And fan movie shorts. And fan song.
My point is, I support him. I look at his fanart, help him with his fan movies (That he hasn't actually started yet, but I will help him).
He isn't a brony, but I don't like Star Trek, yet I LOOK AT HIS FANART. Batman is, after Superman, my least favorite hero (Please don't kill me) but I will help him with his short (I'll post the link here when he actually does it. It's gonna be hee-lay-ree-us). I asked him to read my fics, and he refuses. He doesn't help me even with my original, written-from-scratch and pure imagination projects, starring my little sister.
The point is, my brother is a Meany McBaddiepants who is such an adorable eleven-year-old with such infectious emotions that I can't say no to him!
He also pretends to not be a brony even though he watches MLP with my sister and me religiously every Saturday.
Well, whaddaya know.
That last one isn't unheard of. I've seen plenty of male fans who don't want to be associated with bronydom in any way, shape or form, mainly due to the fact that there is no shortage of creeps in this fandom.
No idea if that's your brother's reason, and going off of what you're saying I'm guessing it isn't.
1733204 I think he just wants to annoy me. He does that a lot.
"Oh, you want me to do this? Nope!"
At this age, he's too loveable for his own good. Once he grows up, he won't be as charismatic.
Ugh, tell me about it. Three brothers. One older, two younger.
1733335 Oh, that must suck!
I just have two younger siblings- A boy and a girl.
You're sandwiched between two boys? Yikes.
1733353 Three. No sisters.
1733391 Oh, gosh I misread that first comment.
That sounds scary. One younger brother is enough for me.
How do you deal?
You dislike batman? You are dead to me. And your brother may not think himself a brony just because he still views mlp as something that is inherently girly, and therefore evil, and isn't ready to take that final step into the dark side.

Batman is too depressing. I like Daredevil.
(That was a joke. You may laugh.)
I'm very big on the really old comic books. In the old comic books, DC did a terrible job with characterization. Really, Clark? What feeble excuses you use on Lois. Spider-Man is so much smarter.
Old Daredevil comic books > Old Batman comic books.
And girly is not evil! Not necessarily.
My brother likes- Um-
1733207 Well then there's only one person to blame.
Obama

I've seen plenty of people who call themselves bronies trip over themselves insisting that My Little Pony isn't really for girls and that it's actually super manly and hardcore.
Closet brony detected
1733889 Naw, he hasn't even seen all the episodes. Like the first.
1733956 Wel, that can be changed with some DVD's and some strong leather straps
1733981 Even better- We have netflix!
1734023 Excellent. I'll fetch the cupcak- I mean, the muffins!

1733394 The older tends to stay in his room most of the time. The first if the younger is one year younger then me, and he's actually been a childhood friend. The very youngest is 5, and he can be sweet at times, but dear god, he is annoying!!!!
1734784 Five? Ooh.
The age when they're too adorable to get mad at for too long and everyone else fawns over. My sister is seven, and everyone still thinks she's an angel. Until she says something. Or bites me for no reason IN PUBLIC WHILE I'M TRYING TO MAKE A GOOD IMPRESSION ON PEOPLE>..
Sorry.
But yeah.
