I have a battle plan · 4:17pm Jan 17th, 2014
So the last few days have been interesting for me. I was bummed due to my rejection from Twilight's Library, and it caused me to do a lot of thinking. I've traveled to Tibet, meditated under several waterfalls, and trained at the most renowned monasteries with monks, and I have come up with at least a plan. After the halfway point (the next chapter), the first few chapters of the story are going to get a fresh coat of paint. I'm going to have several friends look at and critique each iteration I try until we come up with a winner. Why am I revamping the first few chapters you ask? Consistency is one, as the tone of the story now does not match the vision I had when I started it, and for the sake of a coherent story something needs to change. Secondly, the removal of all but one link and possibly any images I have placed. The only one that really has any place in the story is the link from the Snooping chapter, as it is a more central thing to the story itself and not just something random that I threw in. Thirdly, Luna's role as a narrator will be looked at, and if I can't find some way of making her work for me, her role could be cut completely. Generally, I need to look at making sure the whole story is as seamless as possible before I can feel comfortable continuing it. Lastly, the removal of all mentions of the Brony artists in chapter one, as they have no real reason to be there other than a "hey look at what I can write in" sort of thing. Overall, I've began to not only look at my work as something to be proud of writing, but I am placing myself under my own scrutiny, the same scrutiny that I used for every person I've edited/proofread/preread for. I still remain on hiatus, but I'm placing a lot of thought into what I can do to not only improve my writing, but the story as a whole. If anyone has any concerns, please leave them in the comments below and I'll read them, possibly reply to them, and take them into consideration. However, my ambitions for a rework for the first part of the story will probably remain unchanged. That's all for now guys, thanks for reading this wall of text.
Signing off on the back of a llama,

I wish you the best of luck my friend! And I hope that work isn't too much of a bastard while your doing this. You already know you have my support, so I'll just keep my skype open for whenever you need my help. One last piece of advice, get off that llama. Llama's can't be trusted...
Cool. Looking forward to the revamped thing
