Only 224 Days Until BronyCAN · 6:52am Jan 12th, 2014
You know what's cruel? Selling tickets for your convention more than seven months before the convention. How's a pegasister to deal with all hype, knowing that relief is more than half a year away? I'll be lucky if my sanity holds out that long... (Too late.)
So yeah, BronyCAN started selling passes already. I've already got my hands on a Patron-level pass and VIP dinner ticket. And I think I was one of the first people to buy a pass, so that's cool too. Now I just need to bug my friend to see if he is indeed coming this year (nobody breaks a Pinkie Promise!), and book the hotel room. How am I to wait seven whole months...
Actually, I'm not sure if seven months will be enough time! I started painting my car last year, hoping to have it done for BronyCAN '13, before life got in the way, I had to move, and now my car has a few primer patches on the doors and it's winter. But come summer, I can't wait to have a couple of Rainbow Dashes on the sides of my car, smiling at the drivers I pass. And maybe another "super-duper-secret" aesthetic mod as well. Then there's deciding if I want to cosplay or not, if I want to try selling some crafts this year, finding the time and motivation to make them, and possibly most importantly: saving some money for the trip! Hotel room for one (or two), liquor, gas for a nearly 2,000 km round trip, alcohol, food, drinks, merch, booze, autographs, and [another word for alcoholic drinks bought at the hotel bar] leads to some pretty bad credit card debt if you don't have money set aside already. Not that I'm speaking from experience (cough cough).
Sigh. I've only got a few more videos of the panels I missed last year. Then I've got 223 more days to go... If I owned a fainting couch I'd say this is a very bad thing or something. Luckily I don't, so I won't.
