You honestly don't understand? Let me make this blunt. You wrote "800 year promise" because you look back on your earlier works and you realize that your main character was coming off like a tyrant and that the situation was so contrived that you had to write up a way out to make yourself look good. But all it does is make the situation look even more contrived, and downright insulting to humanity.
You trash religion and spirituality by saying humans don't inherently have souls, you're basically saying that humans don't really have any worth, and that no matter what good we've done over the many years of our existence in a world, where need I remind you, everything has been trying to kill us for centuries and we do not have super strength, the ability to fly, nor magic, to fix our problems, all the good we've done has to be thrown under the bus just because of the jerks! All you have succeeded in doing is making all of humanity of anybody who criticizes you look bad, so you can make your main characters and your premise look good. That is why people are disgusted and angry with you. And when they try to point out how hyperbolic your criticism of humanity is and the fact that, guess what, pony life isn't as utopian as you try to depict, you beat them over the head with cherry picked evidence and statistics to try and imply that were just as stupid and ignorant as evil as we've always been, and say that they're the ones at fault for pointing out to story filled will plot holes, which goes against the characterization of the main characters from the show, which completely bastardize is the message of love, tolerance, acceptance of all people regardless of what they look like or where they come from, and says that people, if they won't change, should just be forced into changing and everything that they were about should be completely destroyed to be replaced with something you feel is better. Not through natural character progression or heroes journey like good writer might try to do, but with a magic potion!
That is why I find what you doing to be despicable. I am not going to pretend that humanity is perfect. But I would never be so full of hubris, good God Almighty, to say any species is without its flaws, nor without redemption. And I would never demand that all of humanity be turned into another species in the name of improving them!
I remember reading in a blog post that you did, saying that your intent was not misanthropic. Rick Ross insisted of a song lyric that rape was not intended in the lyrics. But anybody listening to the lyrics "I put Molly in her champagne, took her home, and enjoyed that, and she didn't even know what" ... Anybody could tell that the obvious intent in the words, regardless of whatever the singer might say in interviews, was way. Regardless of what ever you might say in a blog post is the intent of your stories, it is very clear upon reading them but they are startlingly misanthropic and insulting to the show because of the out of character behavior people show.
Not to mention the fact that you keep showing humans that want to remain human as clearly making a wrong choice, a stupid choice, a choice not made out of any genuinely good principle, but selfish pride, and it's so much better to just be a pony! That's not just escapism, it's insulting to people who are deaf, people who are blind, people are physically disabled, people who are black or physically flawed in someway. It's saying to them that you shouldn't bother trying to find things that you're good at and taking pride in the person that you are and your abilities, no, you have to change yourself completely! Be somebody so different you might as well be a different person! Forget everything you were! Because that was flawed and wrong.
For somebody who speaks like she is Jesus Christ assaulted on all side by enemies, your work comes off as startlingly unchristian.
Ok, I'm just going to be blunt. What do you think you are going to accomplish with this?

Why would you? Do you think that one, dinky little sentence you put there reveals anything new, anything groundbreaking? Or do you think that after the blitz of people like you calling misanthrope, you're the one who's finally got her number?
It is my opinion that Chatoyance has problems. You address none of them with what you wrote. Really, you didn't even say anything. Like, anything at all. I cannot imagine what the point of that, or this big post, could possibly be beyond self vindication.
