I SAW FROZEN TODAY! (in 3D!) · 10:29pm Jan 8th, 2014
... Okay, actually it was yesterday, but I wanted to reference the "I WAS FROZEN TODAY!" meme and forgot to post this yesterday.
So yeah, I saw Frozen again, this time in 3D because I hadn't seen it in 3D before, and I wanted to see it in 3D before it went out of theaters in the U.S. (I think tomorrow's the last day). Let me tell you, it looks AWESOME in regular viewing, but it looks even a little more awesome in 3D! And I admit that I jumped a little at the "saw plunging through the ice" part at the very beginning since that already looked 3D-enough! (I jumped the first time I saw it too:twilightblush).
There was only a mother and her daughter in the theater besides me and my family, but it was still awesome to see it—I went with my sister and a couple friends the Monday of last week at 5pm, and it was PACKED, like it had come out in theaters just a few days earlier or something! I have now seen the movie 5 times!
So yeah, anyone who hasn't seen Frozen, SEE IT before it goes out of theaters! And here's hoping it wins Golden Globes and Oscars!
(Also, I saw numerous Twitter posts on Fandango calling the polar vortex moving through the U.S. a Disney marketing ploy to go see Frozen. One post even said something like, "Okay, we get it Disney, you can stop with your snow marketing ploy to get us to see Frozen now! We'll see the movie, sheesh!":raibowlaugh:
My, I'll have to see the movie some day if it's that good!
There was one Tumlr post that had the theater saying "Frozen....Irony" as a snowstorm blows.
The 3D also helps the short, "Get a Horse" which is great in and of itself
You're so lucky... I had to watch it online, and god, the quality decreases considerably.
Oh well, Kristoff still looks sexy enough for me (now, one of us had to become a mad scientist or something like that and bring clones of Kristoff in our dimension ).
