Why are Americans so obsessive?
No seriously, why?
To explain, I have a story that just happened to me. So, I travel around the world as my main job because that's what I do. And, just yesterday I came into the states from Japan. Now, before I continue, I want to make something clear. And that is in no way shape or form, am I a Christian or Muslim. In fact, I am a proud and open Pagan. So, at the place I'm renting for my stay I get a nock on my door. Now, this isn't new to me, it happens all the time. But what does happen, surprises me.
What happens next is the person that nocked on the door starts spewing the usual bible speak stuff that I usually half listen to before I start saying some pagan stuff, to creep them out. Now, before we reached that point, he looked up to look at me. He took one look at my necklace that I usually were, which showcases the pentacle, and started screaming. He starts screaming his lungs off about how I'm going to hell for wearing it, and that the only redemption for my soul was that if I let Jesus in my soul and life. I thought the US was founded on freedom of religion?
So I ask again, why are Americans so obsessive? They obsess over their idols, their religion, their idols, there government, and did I mention their idols? No where on earth have I seen more obsessed people...
