I'm done with my hibernation! Just let me make some toast and I'll get writing again.

Ooh. *Stretches* Wow. That was some break! Took down all my stories from FimFiction then just disappeared for nearly a year! I bet you're dying to know why, so I'll tell you.

1.) Writing is Time Consuming
It doesn't take a genius to figure out that writing a story takes time and effort, both of which I don't always have in me. I have a busy school schedule as it is and can't dedicate too much time to writing without my family getting on my ass about the resulting drop in my grades. I'm a high school Senior now, so I can't let myself slack off. Doesn't mean I can't fit a story in here and there.

2.) Cover Art is a Pain
The primary reason I've written things on deviantart and not posted them here, is because I don't want to commission anyone for cover art, and making my own is just as time consuming as writing the actual story (only it takes longer). This, and I work with black and white media when I'm drawing. Black and white doesn't make the most attractive cover art.

3.) I Have Other Hobbies
Yes, my primary talent is writing, but I'm also a pencil and pen and ink artist, a pianist, a guitarist, and I play a good number of video games (currently working on beating Dark Souls, actually). I have a quirk where I don't stick with one hobby for very long. I'll typically spend a month on writing, then the next on drawing, the next on piano, then maybe get back to writing the next month. I'm not content doing the same thing for all that long, but still, I'll try do be more dedicated with my writing this time around.

I'm back on FimFiction, and I'll have new stories up soon. I just submitted one titled, "An Apple A Day: A Story About Dreams" that can be found in my deviantart gallery now, but is still awaiting approval from FimFiction. I promise you more stories. I think I'll focus on one-shots for now, but I do have a series in the works. Just thought I'd inform you all that I'm shaking off the cobwebs and getting new stuff on here.

Alright! Where's my computer? Oh... Oh god, all the dust... *cough* It's really been awhile.
