A year has gone by
Spent idly
Hiding behind a computer screen
I would change it for nothing
For behind my screen
I am a god
And reality bends to my whims.
Music came and never went away
Created and transformed, never destroyed.
I twisted words
To please those that read them.
I may not have been successful
With everyone in those regards
But I pleased myself, and that
I feel, is what matters most.
