Day z stand alone

well I downloaded the game to see why people like day z and I got to say it a lot of fun, sure there is the amount of walking but when you start looking for stuff, you tend to be lucky when it comes to searching building. Last character I had was a women who I already got a military vest a rifle and some food with a water battle and cantina, so I was set but well I fucking zombie got me and I had nothing to stop my bleeding. So I was fuck I tried search for my body when I notes I was on the other half of the map, I was so mad about that now I'm just trying to hope I can be lucky and find those stuff again. But what I really need to know is where the army base and airfield are cause those seem to have a lot of stuff, plus it my first time ever playing a day z so I don't know the map. So if anyone places day z at all can anyone give me some tips
