    You know what's hard?

Get your mind out of the gutters, all of you.

But seriously you know what's hard? Trying to write in a house with 3 extremely loud younger brothers, a dad who encourages them, and two TVs blasting either Lifetime movies or baseball. In other words...I CAN'T CONCENTRATE!

RATM: The Rebirth (Epic ain't it?)

    WAIT WHAT?!

Yep, that's right! I'm going to continue my first story Rage Against the Memes! After re reading it last night, I suddenly had little flashes of how to continue with the story. So I'm going to!

Gasp! Some actual writing by TheQwardvark?!

Yeppers. I've decided to cancel my fic, Punch Drunk. Why? I don't know a dang thing about alcohol, which was the focus of the story. So instead of just chucking it and letting go to waste, I'm going to put the prologue/1st chapter thing in this here blog post. I'd appreciate it if anyone could tell me what they think of it, since I will be writing fics like this in the future. Thanks and enjoy

I've decided to stop writing BM: Echoes. Earlier when I was writing the next chapter I noticed something. The name Ms. Maple was scattered across the pages. There was barely any direct mention to the filly at all. I then thought about what I had planned for the next few chapters. They revolved around Maple's past and her own character development. I shrugged it off for a little, but then became increasingly anxious as I thought about what I had in store for Maple. I wrote down a general summary and stared at it. I realized something. I completely lost focus of what I wanted to do here...was to tell you the sad tale of that poor barking mare. What I was writing was slowly, but surely, becoming a farce. She was dying, and I was the one killing her with my words..... Thus I can no longer write this and I hope you all understand.

Shame... I had it on my to-read list. Guess I'll cross it out... unless you maybe think you can remake the story from scratch?

Sorry but that's not happening. I think that the first one was enough and there's no need for a sequel. Sorry to disappoint you...

100920 Well, that's a shame. Let's hope somepony else dons the mantle of explaining Screw Loose's dogginess

100926
As do I:fluttershysad:.

100932
Sorry man...I thank you for your support up till now though.

Hopefully you can write more stories though, you are an awesome writer. :pinkiesad2:

Thank you very much:twilightsmile:. And I will write other stories. I just couldn't continue this one.

Cii

Y'know...I'm getting more and more ideas for an episodic series I may start in the near future about ponies and mental disorders (I imagined a "Twilight Zone meets Dream Theater's Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence and then become friends with MLP" kind of deal).:trixieshiftleft:

Perhaps I could have one about Screw Loose -- which I hadn't originally planned, seeing as you were making your sequels -- and as an homage I could keep your story canon...:trixieshiftright:

But one question remains...
Where Applebloom and Maple the same pony?

105548
No they were not. In current MLP FIM canon time the 'barking' pony is a full grown mare, right? In Echoes she is just a filly, about 5 or 6 years old.

Makes sense...
But im still curious...
They had some connection right?

105821
Not entirely, though I thought that Maple's traits and penchant for carpentry would help explain Applebloom's non-apple related skill.
