The next chapter is...still not ready. 3.5k words so far, a lot more than the 82 word thing that got accidentally published, but far from ready. Things are getting a great deal harder to write now: there's plenty to conclude, to open up, explain...the pressure sometimes just locks my fingers in place as I type. I do expect to get this one out before the year ends.
I think everyone who has read my stories already knows of of Forest Rain's readings, but it turns out that there's another set of readings out there done by Ponybot. It's pretty far in too, all the way to Reckoning 56. So if you fancy a particularly bizarre and somewhat difficult to comprehend reading of the story, there you go. The youtube subtitles are hilarious as they often are.
Dark Souls 2 is coming out on March. I really liked the first game, as people may have noticed through my incredibly subtle references to it in my stories. The atmosphere is incredible, the gameplay is brutal in a great way, and it's really good at exposing scrubby idiots. Rainbow Dash waiting on the next Daring Do's got nothing on how antsy I am waiting for this game. I've watched the trailers and they look good. They say it's going to be a great deal harder even with the extra recovery items. I certainly hope so. Great as Dark Souls was, some sections were frustratingly easy. I'm looking at you especially, Gwyn, Nito, and Pinwheel.

Yeah, I'll be sticking with Forest Rain's reading...I can't stand electronic voices for that length of time.
Take all the time in the world. We are internet folk, 90% of what we do basically amounts to waiting around aimlessly.
But yeah whenever I think about Dark Souls 2, I get way to hyped up about it.
I mean if the idea of new challenges, environments, bosses, and weapons wasn't tantalizing enough. From Software keeps subtly teasing fans with the promise of more world building and lore.
Hot damn my brain can still barely comprehend the fact that now your character can shoot a bow and move at the same time! Maybe now I don't have to take a great sword to the face every time I want to attack with a crossbow...well a guy can dream at least
