I love living in Canada. · 12:34am Dec 24th, 2013
I've had no power at my house about forty hours now. Some of you may have heard that Toronto and the surrounding area has been hit with he worst ice storm in decades. And, of course, I was smack dab in the center of it. Two solid days of freezing rain has deposited about an inch of ice on every surface that ice can possibly be deposited on.
I still don't have power at home right now. The only reason I'm even able to post this is because I'm hanging out with a friend who actually has power.
So, uh... yeah. I probably won't have power back for a couple days. I'll enjoy a nice candlelit Christmas.
That's all I really have to say. Don't worry about me if I'm not even online for a few days. It's perfectly fine.
Haha!
*Goes back to curling up in a ball in his Edmonton home.*
Best of luck.
I have to say I love living in Canada too. It can be annoying as fuck sometimes, but in my book nothing is better than a white Christmas.
1640725 ER MAH GERD A FERLER ERDMERTERNIERN!!!!!! (for those who don't speak idiot it says 'OH MY GOD A FELLOW EDMONTONIAN!!!!!!) Hello there.
1642119 Hiyo!
1642149 How are you this fine day?
1642156 Well, it's certainly not "Day" by any stretch of the word.
1642160 I just noticed the time... When the fuck did it hit 1:22, I could've sworn it was only 7:00, but then again it does all look the same this time of year.
1642175 True, true, though in some of the bigger cities there are slight variations in what shade of sickly brown the sky is as a result of all the street lights.
1642195 Ya, it makes me sad sometimes, not being able to see the stars some nights. I guess I'm lucky I know someone with a farm not far from The Fort.
1642205 Sounds lovely.
1642219 It is, once you get past the ever lasting smell of cow, horse, and chicken shit. Unfortunately I must say goodbye, as I have work tomorrow and must wake up at 06:00... Bad time to be going to sleep, G'night.
