Yep, I have my fourth in-progress story up now, Photo Shy. Now I know I shouldn't work on four projects at once, but I couldn't get to work on any of the other three without getting this one out of my head. I published it to see if Photo Finish being in love with Fluttershy during her modeling career is a concept I should run with for one story despite my strong dislike of PF (my least favorite character). Obviously I'll focus on my other stories for the time being. though. In fact, right now I have the next chapter of "The Return of Mr. Bun" in my head begging to be put to paper (specifically the scene where Fleur is getting ready for the party). Sorry fans of "Luna Looks for Love" and "Crowns and Apple, Butterflies and Lilies," but I am a tiny bit stuck on them, though I will try to make progress on getting another chapter of each out.
Review
Anyway, review time. I couldn't find Power Ponies on Youtube, so I did a quick Google search and found it on DailyMotion. So, let's review.
Pros:
I admit, I know a thing or four about superheroes, despite not reading comics, thanks to 90s cartoons and TV Tropes, and I love how they merged the Joker's and Mr. Freeze's backgrounds (my two favorite Batman villains) into a coherent and hilarious whole.
The mane six's attempts to figure out how to use their powers (Well, save Pinkie who seemed to have a good handle on super speed) was great.
Spike was also great throughout.
Is it just me or is the princesses' old castle going to be a central hub for the rest of the season? If so, yay!
Cons:
The one power I think should been given to another pony was Pinkie's. In my opinion, it should have been given to Dash instead, as she is naturally fast, though Dash as a Zeus analogue (I don't know all the heroes of comics. Far from it, in fact) was funny.
Fluttershy having to see a firefly hurt to hulk out makes little sense to me. Normally when she sees any of her friends hurt (Dragonshy, Stare Master, The Return of Harmony, etc.) she tends to get very angry so seeing her not get angry when that happens is....RAEG!!! (Hulks out)

Overall, an 8.1 out of 10, same as the season opener.
