Heya fellas! Jacoboby1 here. I'm here to inform everybody that I am indeed on break and am continuing to write as planned. First of all I want to make a couple of things clear, I am not abandoning Equestria Noir just because things have been slow and you haven't gotten updates in a while. I just am dealing with personal and family issues that slow down the writing process a little. You guys have been incredibly understanding about this and I appreciate it. Another thing is that I will tell you ahead of time what episodes of Season 4 are cannon with Noir and which aren't, so don't freak out. I did this before with season 3 after all.
Now recently I've been having an idea for a video game that I want to run by you guys. Basically the idea is this, it's an rpg where you create your character and go through dungeons and quests normally, but at a certain point in the story you learn that a monster is going to come in ten years to basically destroy the world. Luckily, your character learns that a prophecy foretells that six heroes will fight and defeat the monster and save the world. The problem? The "heroes" are all ten year old kids at this point in the story. Your task is to find them, raise them, and train them to be the legendary heroes. This game is basically a combination of time management games such as Princess Debut and Bioware Rpgs such as Baldur's Gate and Dragon Age Origins. I'm really curious to see if you guys think this idea has any merit.

1624238I was thinking it would be something in the vein of harvest moon, wherein the player interacts with various npcs in town and by spending time with them they can become friends.

it sounds like an interesting take for a game, though making it would take a large amount of time.
