So I was looking through the stats on Without a Hive for a completely unrelated reason, and happened to notice that the "Referral" graph was a lot more cluttered than it had been before. So I look through the list of referral links, and the text of one of the addresses caught my attention. So I go to look.
Holy crap, I got fanart
And they look adorable together!
So thank you again, Fuzebox. Finding this really made my night, and makes me want to see those two happy even more than I did before!
Clicking the image leads to the tumbler page where I found it. Fair warning, a fair amount of the content on other pages there (But not the one linked) is NSFW, in case that's an issue for you.
That is indeed adorable. Do you plan on making a sequel soon?

Maaaybe... to the point where all it's waiting on is for someone to finish proofreading what I've written so I can post it.
1594629 Well then, I hope your proof reader gets it done soon.
Adorable, but what's with the eye?
(I recall a fic in which changelings only get the solid blue eyes while they're linked to the hive mind.)
YEEAAHHHHH!! Aw yeah, awesome!
I have to know, by the way: do they get back together? I NEED TO KNOW! CAN SPARK EVER FORGIVE NICTIS!? MUST KNOW!

I think that's just the way he draws changelings. I mean, I suppose Nictis could use shapeshifting magic to make his eyes look like that if he wanted to (Since he's done the opposite), though I don't think he'd really want to do so. *shrug*

The next story will answer that. Eventually. Maybe...

Cool.
For the heck of it... http://imgur.com/ZUAH0ny
Spark has a black coat? For some reason I thought it was dark brown...eh, whatever.

YESYESYESYESYES!

Charcoal grey, yeah. It doesn't get mentioned often (Only twice, I think), so it's probably one of the details that can easily drop from one's attention in a fairly long story like this.
Actually, his color scheme was a very conscious choice. I love playing around with tropes, particularly in subverting them, or the expectations they bring. So I made him dark gray with a "fiery-orange" mane, because it made him as close as possible to a black-and-red OC without explicitly being a black-and-red OC.

Heyo, artist here, it's just the way I draw changeling eyes. At least in my head canon, changelings have the same kind of eyes that Chrysalis has, but with an additional eyelid, which would be the blue lens, which is how they can change eye color. Though to each their own, and someone was nice enough to make an edit for the folks who like the pupil-less eye. 1595803
Adorable! Didn't see it when it was posted, art was so good, thought I'd go necro on this post
