Quick update with fic, then spoilers after the break.
I just started writing chapter 5 of Persona MLP yesterday. Writing the last chapter really drained me, and McDonalds gave me really shitty shifts all week so I've been too tired to write. Hopefully I can release this faster than the last chapter, but who knows.
That was one of the best eps I've watched in a while. Or at least, it hit all the right notes for eps I want. It was full of nice visual gags and action, but neither actually drained from the tension or story. So brilliant. And for a Polsky ep, that's a very high praise; I pretty much hate every ep he's ever done except for discord, just because discord was funny the whole time, even if the writing was shit.

PPS: There is one issue with the whole ep imo. It's pretty dumb that the mane six just stood there while daring do had a fight in her home, but like, whatever. They just found how she was daring do for real and were in awe and stuff. It's just barely believable.

Yeah, the ep was enjoyable, but filled with so many out-of-placeness that I had to glue my WUT mask to my face.
But that marriage joke made up for it. How do they slip something like that into a kids show?
I thought it was more dumb that they stood around trying to get Dash to be Dash, and just sort of going, "Be awesome" "No" "Okay, but be awesome again" "No" over and over. :B
I thought it was amazingly funny. In any other show, the reveal that Daring Do was real would be a real dealbreaker. In Equestria, which is already a crazy place filled with adventures and baddies in every corner, it just sort of makes sense.
I admit, the episode suckered me into thinking it was going to do one direction and then completely 180'd. When it turned out she really was Daring do, my response could best be described as
