Bit of a poignant piece this time around. If you've been paying attention, you should understand the significance of this piece, but in the event that you don't, I'll go ahead and explain anyway. Pictured here are Mach's three guiding spirits (from left to right: Corvus, Aquila, and Cygnus), watching over him as he calls to Polaris for aid. It's a picture I've had in my head for a long time now, but I felt it deserved better than just my usual vector treatment.
Now that we've gotten that out of the way, onto the story and how things will be progressing as we draw to a close. I'm currently chipping away at the final chapter bit by bit, and I hope- hope- to be done in a week or so. We'll definitely be done before the year is out, but I'm not positive at this point if the finish will be down to the wire or not. As far as what comes after chapter 30, yes, there will be an epilogue. The plan is to complete the epilogue before I submit chapter 30. However- and this is fair warning for those of you that actually follow me- I will not be publishing the epilogue until precisely one day after the final chapter, for reasons twofold:
1: This is the last time I'll be able to make you guys squirm while you wait to see what happens next, and...
2: I want a little bit of a buffer between chapters in order to get people's thoughts on chapter 30 as well as the epilogue.
I wanted to make you guys wait a week, but odds are that would push us into next year, so you get a pass. :3
This'll be the last blog until after Outlaw is over. It's been one hell of a ride, and it's been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life to share it all with you.
