A Letter to Celestia · 1:43pm May 1st, 2012
Hello everypony, I have been going through some exceedingly difficult times recently as a result of some glaringly bad choices I have made, causing my to nearly lose my job and my home, (still not entirely sure those are safe either). However, through these events I have learned something truly amazing about the magic of friendship and I wish to share it here. What better way to share this than a friendship report written to Celestia. I'll say it now; No, I will not elaborate on the events I am referring to, as it is not something I am particularly proud of and do not wish to repeat it. Read this or not, it doesn't make much difference to me, but I feel I need to publish this somewhere, and this is as good a place as any. For those that do take the time to read this, thank you.
Dear Princess Celestia,
Today I learned that, while you may have many people you consider your friends, it is important to be able to distinguish who your true friends really are. All of your friendships can flicker and burn like candles in a dark room, giving you light, warmth and comfort. However, there will come times of true hardship and strife that will sweep through the room like a great wind and cast you into darkness. It is during these times that the light of your true friends shall burn brightest of all, bringing light to the abyss, giving you hope when you feel all is lost, offering a shoulder to lean on and an ear to listen without fear of judgment.
Sometimes these friends can be those you see every day, even if you never appreciated just how much they truly mean to you. Others can be a friend that you have not seen or spoken to in months, though when it truly matters, they can prove to be the truest friend of all. Even in our darkest moments, when we feel our world falling to pieces around us and are unsure of how we will survive what the future holds, never, ever underestimate the power or the love of your truest friends. They shall be your beacon to light the way, your warmth in the chill of night, a source of comfort and hope when all seems lost. They are your friends, and you must always cherish each and every moment you spend with them, never forgetting that, when it truly matters, you will never be alone as long as your friends are beside you.
Your Faithful Student,
Nitrox Brony
I really hope things work themselves out soon.
Also, very legit friendship report
It makes me really happy to read how you are discovering your true friendships, even finding them in people you would least expect!
Hope everything works out for you

Heh, well thanks, and as an update I am currently job hunting, though things have a way of working themselves out in the end. Here's to hoping for interviews sooner rather than later
