Thanksgiving Update + Season 4 Final Thoughts

Well, Happy Thanksgiving everypony! So far, mine's been pretty great, but not perfect. Still, I can't complain. Moving on, season 4 premiered last saturday, so here's my final thoughts.

When the episode started up, I cheered with glee. Twilight was finally getting flying lessons with RD! Plus after that, Twilight guaranteed that if I write Twilicorn anytime soon, I won't have to write the words "Princess Twilight" every thirty seconds. The new opening was very welcome, as Luna finally resides in the throne room with Celestia. Plus, the CMC, the Apple Family, Zecora, and Spike are now included in the "and magic makes it all complete" portion of the song, which suggests that they will play more of a role in the story from now on. I also now like Celestia more, as she shows true...humanity? Ponyianity? Compassion maybe?...Anyway, from there, I actually had to pause the episode, and scream at the top of my lungs for about a minute when John DeLancie (Otherwise known as Discord) made his return. And I think he was funnier than he has been since he first appeared in season 2. Next, I greatly appreciated the flashback, which showed the rise of Nightmare Moon, the fall of Discord, and the recovery of the Elements of Harmony, something I've been wanting to see for ages. Following that, there was the Tree of Harmony, which had such a great reveal it actually gave me tingles. But Lastly, I think the Box of Many Keys (That's what I'm calling it anyway) is a mystery that i can't wait to see develop.

Now then as for my writing, I promised that Dreams would go up on Thanksgiving, and it will. I'm putting the final touches on it as you're reading this. In addition, the new chapters for WHID and FiMtG are likely to go up this weekend, but no guarantees. As for what is on the horizon, when I found out that Derpy Hooves was not coming back, I decided that I had to write a story about that...
