What a month!
Not only did we get our first new pony for like a ton of months, the season premiere also aired on my birthday! How cool is that? As for the premiere, I haven't even had time to watch it a second time yet, but my first impression was that it was okay, slightly disappointing in some ways perhaps. Discord was in top form, though.
But that's ancient history, man!
The real news of the day is that I finally hit 75000 words in my crazy NaNoWriMo run. That's only half of what I aimed for, but I'm still pretty damn happy with it, and I did hit 50k after only 12 days which I still think is amazing. As my stats show, I kinda hit a wall after 60k.
I expected I might have trouble near the end of the month, what with birthday and new pony and everything else. November has never been a very good month for this sort of thing, to me. It didn't help that I kinda felt a bit hopeless, seeing more and more words but still the same number of chapters.
There are technically three days left, and I suppose if I really pushed myself I could perhaps write another 10-15000 words before December 1. But I'm just going to call it quits here. I got halfway to my goal, which was an insane goal in the first place. I think I can be happy with that.
So how have your month been? Did you like the new pony?
Well, first off, happy belated birthday!
And second, it's been pretty busy between life's responsibilities and still trying to have an online presence. All in all it's been good. Got a Bosto 22HD, which seemed promising, but ended up being a massive disappointment and a ripoff. Still trying to get the company who falsely advertises it as the BEST alternative to cintiqs (that goes to Yiynova 22HDv2) and just fighting to get a refund now. Thankfully PayPal isn't one to allow sleazy companies get away with stuff like what they did with me, long story, and will hopefully end in my favor by the month's end.
And having a big thanks giving tomorrow. Things have already been pretty much very busy. But finally squeezing in some stories on my backlog at least.

I think a cintiq would be awesome, but I looked at a few and damn, I could get a car for that price. It's insane. Not for ordinary people, that's for sure.
Thanks. I got myself an Intuos Pro earlier this month, sort of an early birthday gift to myself I guess. Haven't had time to really use it, of course, except to mess around with some of the many, many settings
