So, I'm going to begin working on Crow's Day off part 2, you can see who wins if you want by checking the previous blog post, but this chapter won't have that much significance on the plot (don't hold me to that, I haven't written it yet). That said, the story's going to be picking up in the next few chapters. We'll see some more of Twilight filling out her Princess duties, a trip to the Crystal Empire, and we'll meet some more of an ever-growing horde of OC Longma soldiers.
Namely, the other two Captains. Oscuridad is the Captain of the Royal Guard, protecting the Princess directly. But there's also a Captain of the Castle Guard, who protects the castle walls, and the Captain of the Imperial Guard, which is the Longma's main military force, their invasion force.
As for my possible new stories:
One is loosely based off my all time favorite Kung Fu movie Little Big Soldier

It'll be a story taking place in the Longmaverse, during the civil war. After a massive battle between the Crystal Empire and the Night Empire, there are only two survivors; a clever but coward of a Longma, and a captured Crystal Pony general. The story follows the Longma trying to drag the Crystal general back to the Castle, hoping to be rewarded by being able to leave the military and start a farm. The Crystal General on the other hand, wants to return home to the Crystal Empire to fulfil a plot to depose Sombra.
Of course they eventually become the best of friends and a bunch of other nonsense happens, including, but not limited to; Crystal assassins, mountain goat barbarians, singing Zebras, and kung fu action. For those who have seen the movie (it's great, watch it) please don't spoil the ending for anyone else.

The other has nothing to do with ponies, but I recently watched the best Pokemon movie, Rise of Darkrai, and having watched the Doctor Who 50th anniversary the day before, I began thinking about Doctor Who and pokemon. I know it's probably been done before, and it's probably not going to happen, but it's stuck in my head as something that needs to happen.
