So! I saw the new episodes. And overall I liked them. They were really cool. I like what they're doing with Discord and Twilight and the message was good.
That said, they did exactly as I feared and tore my verse apart. So, next fic (which will hopefully be up soon, depending on what my prereaders say) will require an AU tag. Oh well, this has always been a niche verse.
That said, NOW I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHA!

Also, I still think that being able to use the Elements solo defies their entire point, so that's completely impossible in this verse. Still, I can accept it for canon.
At first I thought that I'd have to throw out the entire episode, but thinking about it, I might be able to have something similar happen. The Tree of Harmony can't have grown the Elements, but being the source of their raw materials works. And then being cured just with a rainbow blast (Sorry, the girls still need the Elements in this verse. Can't have Jokel becoming less paranoid, can we? Then, the Plunder Seeds will fit in really well for The Moulds of Opposition.
Anyway, any thoughts?

Crazy's just one part of it. Karma seems to have it in for Twilight when she's on her own.
Except even in the show, it proved you can't really use them on their own. At least, not to their full power. Yes Tia manged to use them, but only to banish Luna. It wasn't until the Mane 6 each had one and used them together they were able to use them at their full power.
