My response to the season 4 premiere

On another note, now that Season 4 has started, more updates can be expected now (though I'm not gonna confirm anything just yet). The reason for the unannounced delay was a couple of things:

1) I wanted to see if whatever happened at the start of season 4 could be incorporated into my story, and after watching it, it some of it kind of can. I'll explain more in a bit.
2) Me knowing the origins of the Elements was kind of very important, because while I could have made up some head canon on it, the somewhat vague yet informative explanation given was well, perfect for what I want to do with that. What was said about the so far isn't changed, though.

Now, how I plan to incorporate the plot of the two parter into my story. Without giving TOO much away, what happened in the show will happen in the story, though not just seemingly "random". Also, a key thing I want to do is having my character not be involved, or even present for show story plots (IE, he's not going to figure it all out for them and completely ruin what the Mane 6 learned), so having him be distracted or gone during the whole thing will be a small little project.

All of that being said, hope the new season is starting out as awesome for you guys as it is me, and hopefully my story is a pretty good read!
