Coming Soon: Coulrophobia · 5:24am Nov 20th, 2013
If you guys remember, last year I decided to give you all a Christmas present in the form of a fan fic, namely 'Happy Hearts Warming Eve, Twilight Sparkle!'. This year will be no different and I will be running a 4 chapter story all of December, starting soon.
Coulrophobia
Slice of Life/Humor
Twilight and her friends have never done very well when it comes to throwing Pinkie Pie birthday parties. But this year is going to be different! Twilight has planned ahead, made sure Pinkie understands what is going on, and gotten the girls to stay on track. They have decorations, tons of presents, a perfectly made giant cake... and Twilight even hired a clown to perform.
What could possibly go wrong...
The fic will be a humor fic but NOT be like my normal crack-fic style humor... instead it will read more like a normal episode if I was officially drafted to write an episode.
Sounds like shenanigans... AWESOME.
Pinkie Pie being afraid of Clowns. Oh the irony in that.
Although wasn't there a Micro Comic where she actually got to meet a world famous clown that she admired and help him still do the job he loved even though he was being forced to retire?

I don't count the comics as canon, personally.
Will it be set in the Scootaverse? And if it is, will it be canon to it?

No, it will NOT be set in the Scootaverse proper. It COULD be part of it, but there won't be any zany references and such (other than a few twists)

Although the comic writers work alongside the show writers to make sure everything fits in canon. So technically the comics are canon, just not brought up in the show so people who don't read the comics won't be confused.

And I choose NOT to follow the comics. Its called levels of canon and the best example is Geroge Lucas and Star Wars. There is Levels G, A, B, and C
A, for example, is stuff that appears in official offshoot material. For example, Shadows of the Empire is an official Star Wars Midquel.
B is for stuff that is not official but references stuff from the movies and COULD be canon until proven otherwise
C is stuff that is clearly out of canon but still deserves mention.
G is what George Lucas says.
