Hello readers and readerettes!
I just wanted to leave you all a friendly reminder that I'm not dead! And neither is the story. We're not on an official hiatus as I've been working double-time to put out as much as I can during this short downtime. As a reminder, we're out of commission for November, due to lacking one of my awesome editors.
So far chapter 18 is complete, aside from the final pass. So far it's just shy of 23k words, which falls within my normal range! So I feel really good about it. We're doing some new things, and unless all sorts of Hell breaks loose, it'll be awesome. I can't wait to get the chapter out. Hopefully, it'll be ready in the first week of December, so you don't have to wait too too long for your fix.
As for the rest... I'm nearing the end of chapter 19 already, I think I have 2 (maybe 3) more scenes. I'm not sure where I want the cutoff to be, whether it'll be at cligghanger A or cliffhanger B. (You all know me, I love cliffhangers!) but I should have the rough draft finished within the next few days and then on to editing! In a perfect world, I'll have chapters 18, 19, 20 and (maybe!) 21 ready by the end of the month, so we can sent out a new chapter every week!
Who knows, I just wanted to make sure you all knew I wasn't dead somewhere in a ditch.
