A thought about presenting ideas · 1:13am Nov 10th, 2013
I have been noticing a fair number of threads, in the groups I'm part of, that have requests for story ideas, which got me thinking about a better way to express the ideas to the public:
My thought was a system where one is able to post an idea or number of ideas (having the option to "add additional idea" under the first idea's area) and having it posted along with the other ideas out there where people can read them and either upvote, downvote, comment on, or provide a link to a story of that idea that's been done to their satisfaction, all with their own buttons... and for case of clarity, each idea has markers for the characters, genres, and whatever to help narrow down the searching criteria for the ideas themselves
something like:
searching: "Spike, romance" - order: rank - types: ☐song ☑story ☐image ☐video
166 = 176↑ 10↓ 42c
Sleeping play
Spike, Applejack
Romance, Slice of Life, mature, sex, anthro
Spike finds his girlfriend asleep under an apple tree and gently lays next to her, nuzzling her awake but she thinks she's still asleep and does smexy stuff together65 = 77↑ 12↓ 72c 1s
Rarity the Dragon - "Rarityfan87 - Rarity's Transformation"
Spike, Rarity
Adventure, Dark, Romance
Rarity gets turned into a dragon and hides from everyone except Spike (after some pleading from him of course)
the only problem is that I have no idea how to do it... or even if it's a good idea at all
I like it.
