Almost winter break

As you can guess from my bio and the first chapter of the story, I switch between third person omniscient and first person. Most of the characters' dialogue will be in white text, but characters such as Zecora or my currently-unnamed OC have silver and dark blue respectively. The idea for my non-equine OC came from a character I made up a long time ago, before I became a brony/pegasis. Oh, and I'm heavily influenced by Japanese culture. (side effect of my love for anime)

The heroine of my original story was sealed away straight after being born, and never knew her parents. She held a terrible power within her and so was sent aways from her original time period, the Feudal Era. The time period she landed, is essentially a post-post apocalyptic future. Nothing grows, all the humans are paranoid of each other and they die more frequently. Needless to say, well... much worse. Even moreso at teh same time when a family is separated during an earthquake. Only the grandparents and the eldest daughter survived; they found the baby and took her as their own, despite their recent heartbreak.

Time passed, and the heroine found herself fighting with the humans almost regularly, due to her appearance. Her only sources of solace happened to be a weapon she created from scrap metal and her adoptive grandmother and older sister. But... her family starved to death two days after her tenth birthday, leaving her without a family.

Anyway, some of the ideas from the original heroine, I carried over into my OC such as not knowing of his mother and being born from the same time period, ableit a hundred years before her. They're both brunettes and their eye colors change depending on the form. So far, he has golden eyes and four brush-like, brown and white-tipped tails that are sometimes lit up by dark blue wisps that can erupt into flames as needed. (He also has a pair of vulpine ears, because human ears can't twitch like that) And they both can be big eaters.
