I've recently read a very bizarre fan fic about Twilight discovering a bible and believing everything in it immediately. In this story(if you can call it that) Celestia is the Antichrist and Spike is Satan.
I cannot understand what the author was trying to do. Either they wrote a troll fic or they're actually serious about trying to inject religion into MLP:FIM :sigh:
I feel compelled to add this:
I believe Celestia and Luna are my Saviors. If you do too and aren't scared to admit it, then copy and paste this in your blog

I appreciate that, I consider myself a christian as well but this, this was just bizarre. I think it was called, The Gospel of Twilight Sparkle. You have no need to apologize though, you and other Christians are not responsible for the actions of others.

Eh.... I'm torn between the need to rofl and facehoof at that fic.... religion and mlp no es bueno, cap'n, but it was bound to happen eventually. Just cause people can be like that sometimes...
I am into Religion a little bit, but this is ridiculous. Religion and MLP do NOT go together at all.
As I have stated to many people and a few missionaries that I believe in two goddess sister rulers, who bring us the night and the day. They teach that we should live in harmony, while loving and tolerating our fellow beings through the magic of friendship.
Some stare at me in disbelief while others, have actually inquired about more information. I tell them to watch the show and that when I lose the the rest. So far only got one other person to become a brony this way. But it is a good way to live a life by following the elements of Harmony. I have actually found that I get along with more people that way.
I can't really say Celestia and Luna are my saviors, I'm Catholic. yet imma brony; MLP FIM, and Religion, don't go well together
The only MLP religion that should be there is their own which I don't think will actually show up anytime soon...
religion from a show should not be reenacted in RL. please, stay sane.

I may be a subject of the night court more than of the day, but I agree. The moral code shown in MLP: FiM is one I follow as well. I like to believe that the sun and moon are under the princesses. It gives me a sense of comfort even through the impossibility of it.
not sure if that accepting the Royal sisters was a joke but I've got to say that if religious views were added into MLP the fandom would kinda lose its unity(being that we're not here for religion but for a show)

Anyway, people are always trying to inject religion into My Little Pony. They proclaim that Luna and Celestia are gods, even though this is never stated in the show. I suspect Equestria is an athiest state. After all, there are no wars and little conflict. How can that exist in a world with religion?
But here's what I like: "believing everything in it immediately." Keep that girl away from Lord of the Rings! She'll start worshipping Sauron!!! Though that is what most humans do anyway.

I don't believe religion is the problem just the jerks who twist it to justify their own prejudices. Either way. I wasn't making fun of him with that last line, just the people on DA who put something similar as their sig. Replace Celestia and Luna with Jesus and you get there message. There is no known religion in Equestria and I wish people would leave it that way.
