So I did my usual and watched the latest and last episode for the second season of MLP: FIM "The Royal Wedding." I usually watch on Facebook under Real Men watch My Little Pony even though I am a pegasister and I am part of the heard. So, I by accidently hit part 2 first and saw a recap of part 1 but things didn't register. It wasn't until our classic FIM intro song ended and Twilight was in the cave that saying, "Hello?" that I was up a creek. "Great," I thought. "I just ruined it for myself. I already knew that Cadence appeared to be evil and was treating the main protagonist terribly. So, I went to part 1 knowing what would happen. At the very same time, the first part brought many new twists and turns in addition to many reactions on my part. For instance, I did not once expect to make tear up or cry when the Changling Queen purposely isolated Twilight. Even if it meant using her own friends. Why, I was even more devastated when even Celestia appeared to turn her back on on her best faithful student as Twilight fully confronted the issue.

The second part of the episode had was more adventurous and fun as Twilight and her friends had an all out fight with the Changling's minions, while Chrysalis' defeat was similar to the one in the movie "Stardust." (For those who have not seen it, the female character was a star and asks her lover to hold onto her and close her eyes in order to shine brightly in order to destroy an evil witch from killing both of them). Finally, the ending was just as epic as "The Princess Diaries" or any other good ending to a great romantic comedy even it it's not for nerds or bronies for that matter. It had a great song which was done by Miss Sparkle herself. The ending was done so well that I had forgotten that I was watching a tv show and watching the end of a great movie instead and felt very entranced by not wanting it to end. Even more so, I was sad that another great season came to a close.
