    New Story on the Horizon

Well, it took about a week since my original commitment, but I finally managed to put down the sodding tablet pen long enough to pick up an ink pen and get back into the horse words business. Now, for those of you who saw my last blog post, you'll recall that I expressed interest in

What I've Been Busy With for the Past Week (Or Two. Or Three... Or Four)

This is why I never, ever, ever mutter the words, 'I think I'm gonna draw for a bit.' If I do, a month suddenly disappears into the aether and I find myself stuck with these friggin' things.

And So A New Project is Born...

Whelp, it finally happened. I figured it was only a matter of time before I got that idea. If you're a writer, then you should know what I'm talking about. That idea. The one that you get in the middle of night right before you go to sleep. The one that refuses to leave your head, constantly scratching at the back your mind like a dog itching for a piss until you finally give the

It's Time for a Change of Pace

Right, so I'll just cut straight to the chase. I've lost inspiration to keep working on Live by the Creed right now. Not enough to abandon the story entirely, goodness no, but enough that I need a bit of a break from it. Not just that, but I am, admittedly, having problems figuring out how exactly I'm going to continue the story from where I am, so yeah, progress has come to an

I Have a Teensy-Weensy, Wittle Favor to Ask. (Rewritten Chapters Over Yonder!) · 12:26am Nov 4th, 2013

So, I think I've finally established the obvious fact that I'm a bit stupid. Well, maybe not stupid. Just indecisive. Really indecisive. Like... really indecisive. Also a bit stubborn, but who isn't these days? Actually, no, I do think I'm a bit stupid, but that's probably the fatigue talking. Or not. I really don't know.

Now, anyone who's been following me for a while will likely be familiar with my seemingly never-ending agonizing over the idea of rewriting Creed. I probably would've by now, but as we've already established, I am stupid/indecisive/stubborn and as such, it's an idea that could very much never reach fruition. However, because I'm stupid/indecisive/stubborn, that possibility still hasn't stopped me from writing rewritten chapters at a pace that would make a glacier scream 'Dude, hurry the hell up.' So, here I am with four completed chapters, and goddammit, I'm gonna show them to somebody. It kinda feels like I own a ship-in-a-bottle and that I'm trying to find at least one person who appreciates it so that it would feel like a complete waste of fucking time.

Right, so time for the titular teensy-weensy, wittle favor. See, I've got these lonely chapters here with no one to read them. So, if any of you guys have the time for it, here are Chapters One, Two, Three, and Four, with Five still in progress. Now that I think about it, I should probably get a dedicated prereader for this kinda thing.

You know, some people have asked me why I keep worrying about treading old ground with this rewrite instead of focusing on making new chapters. In all honesty, I hardly know myself. I suppose it goes down to my desire to always do better, and this story is no exception. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy writing the story as is, bumps along the road and all, but I just can't do it without knowing that I can do better than everything I've done so far. Not only that, but it feels like I'm screwing the readers out of the best possible the story that I could give them, instead opting to feed them half-assed bullshit (again, I still enjoy writing this). To be honest, even though it'll drag my updates down to a standstill, I doubt that I'm going to drop this rewrite until it's finished. Whether or not I'll still post a new chapter during that, I don't know yet. I just figured I'd let you all know. Last time I didn't give a proper heads-up, people thought that the story was cancelled.

Don't worry about having to decide between new chapters and rewrites. Actually, I still have to rewrite the preexisting rewrites on my own AC fic that's been on hiatus for some time, and let me say that I was fortunate enough to ahve someone point out a large plot hole in the early parts of the fic. So in other words, rewrite will save your ass from time to time :trollestia:

As much as I want to become the awesomest bestest prereader assassin expert (100% synch in all console games, I'm at 96% for the recent Pirate game) I would be a poor choice actually. Despite that I can edit and format relatively well, I'm rather aloof and like commas, and past/present/future tense shifts. And having been unable to write for a while has made me rusty, and I don't think i would actually have enough mental willpower to dedicate myself as a prereader, despite the high amount of wanting to be one.

I will however read over these chapters. I will likely then say, "Wow, I wub your fic :rainbowkiss:"
and hopefully provide some strong writer's criticism
