I loved it! Fucking loved it! First of all, I liked seeing more of Canterlot because I always am interested in the city and since it isn't the main setting it is always more interesting to see it. I love Shiny Armor. I wish I had a brother like him ;_; Princess Cadence is so beautiful. I found a canon ship I really like! And the music~ <3 Queen Chrysalis was an awesome villain too! DASH'S SONIC RAINBOOM and VINYL SCRATCH! Eeeeee! Only thing I hated is seeing Soarin and Dash dancing together because most of those fans only ship it because it's straight. As much as I love TwiDash, I think Rainbow's sexual orientation should remain unknown. People like the idea of her as a lesbian. I don't believe she's one myself, but let fans interpret how they want! SpitDash is the more canon Dash/Wonderbolt ship anyway.
Also as much as I hate to admit, I'm jealous of Twilight now. She comes from a royal city, her parents had the money to send her to a gifted school, she has an awesome brother, her foalsitter is a princess, she's related to royalty now, she has a huge range of magic, the Princess praises her as a prodigy (who's basically a goddess), she has the most powerful element of harmony, and she has lived in a very nice home. Even if she didn't have many friends as a foal, it was still her choice and there were still ponies that wanted to be friends with her.
Sorry for ranting ^^; I just wish I could have some sort of fantasy in real life kind of like that is all.
