As hinted in chapter 12 and exposed in chapter 13, our group has founded a faction.
It is called Dawn, its Russian name is восход солнца (read 'voskhod solntsa') which literally translates to 'Sunrise' but I found that Dawn sounded better in English. They are based in the Jupiter Factory, which is a pretty big complex... I'll make another blog post about that place in the future.
The ranks of the faction are shown below:
I wanted to give them a motto, as shown in the picture, but they don't actually have one... because I used to suck at Latin and I still do. Also, Snag is a Warrant officer, not a Master Chief.

I still have to expand and modify ground rules though.
And there's the emblem of the faction. It took me quite a while to do, I initially came up with a lot of different, complicated designs and ended up with these two, the one on the right won.
Obviously, it is very influenced by the Clear Sky emblem:

I would try "Always Darkest Before The Dawn" but Google Translates want to translate Darkest as Virgin Mary

awh, I was going to make a Halo reference when I saw that Snag was the only 'Master Chief'
but in all seriousness, this looks almost professional, just needs to be typed out and that emblem to be drawn digitally in colour, but impressive nonetheless

At first I was gonna make Vano a Commander and Snag a Master chief, then I decided that it was a stupid joke. Also Master Chief Petty Officer is a real rank in the military.
1474607 I know that, but I was going to make a reference to Master Chief Petty Officer Sierra-117, because everyone simply knows him as THE Master Chief, and the way it looks up there... its as if Snag has his own rank of 'Master Chief'

I barely know any Latin, so google says it's "Initium Novum" in Latin.

Got to add: "Sunrise" in russian is just "Восход". "Восход <insert name here>" is for when something other than the Sun is rising. "Восход Солнца" is possible too, but that's pretty much a tautology and sounds weird.
I can't make out what's written in the ground rules.
Could you tell me what's written there for me?
