As you may imagine, things have been quite rocky as of late. Slowly I am coming to terms with all that has and is happening, pick up the pieces and moving on. I need to find a way to distract me for a bit and help get my brain back on the right track.
Wait, I've got an idea.
Send me the idea for and basic plot for a short story. I will write it in that strange way that I do, and then give it back so you can post it. After all, it is your idea, not mine. Also, if you could include some info on the main characters, that'd be swell.

Short story ideas? Well, let's see...
A story involving Pinkie's personal life. In the presence of friends, Pinkie Pie appears as an energetic, happy and random pony. But when she's by herself, she has time to reflect on what's happened over her relatively short life. No, she doesn't go straight-haired or have a dull color scheme. She's still Pinkie.
That's what counts, right?
Pinkie's pondering leads her to the inescapable conclusion that she cannot hide this other self from her friends for long, just like how Rainbow Dash found out about her personality disorder. So, when she reveals this to her friends, they all have different reactions. Rainbow Dash, in the end is the most understanding and supportive throughout the group discussion of Pinkie's other side.
Suggested titles: "Softly, In My Ear" "Pink n' Pink: Or How She's Still the Same Mare" "The Private Line: Pinkie's Story" or "More Than You Think"

Super easy one: Tender Moments,
Luna is having a hard time adjusting after returning from her 1000 year exile.
One night when Luna is trying to calm herself by lighting the sky, Celestia hears her struggling and finds her sister crying on the balcony.
Celestia secretly uses her magic to create a solar flare which causes radiation to hit the sky just right, creating the aurora lights.
Luna is confused beyond all reason but Celestia soon reveals herself and comforts her, you know ... the whole under the wing canon, seen it so many times yet it still causes feels and the HHHNNNGGGG stuff.
End. Basically I just wanted to write a fic about how Celestia found a way to use the sun to create something in the night sky that Luna wouldn't have ever thought of. Also it was my idea to end it with something like Celestia offering to teach Luna how to raise the sun, because if she could learn to work the moon, why can't Luna learn to work the sun? Just to show that Celestia really cares about Luna and that she is trying to share her power/responsibility. But... that was my idea, you can take it wherever you want.
