Here we go.

So it begins. Not with a thundering crash or an explosion but with a sorry whimper of regret. I've pushed a story onto these humble pages and it might be possible that you could accidentally read it so be cautious.

I am in this fandom mostly because it exists. Unlike a lot of origin stories mine started because I'd found a show that was combining Curtis Armstrong with Dave Foley on the Hub that sounded interesting. Dan Vs. Which some day I hope has an episode Dan Vs The Volcano just for the Tom Hanks reference. Maybe they already did? I stopped watching ages ago. However since I was viewing it on The Hubs website I couldn't help but notice there was another show that I remembered from my childhood with a new version called Friendship is Magic. "What is this?" I asked myself. "Oh my, Lauren Faust at that, interesting." So I watched, and watched, and watched. Soon I was waiting eagerly for new episodes quietly, alone. It wasn't until several months later that a friend of mine happen to make a random reference to Fluttershy that I found out about the world of Bronies. Oh, I wasn't alone apparently I was happy to find out. What is all of this work created out of admiration? There are responses and there is support of the creators of the show? The sprawling news sites like Equestria Daily are being constantly updated? Goodness what a place to have accidentally fallen into.

Suppose I should catch up with the brony freak out moments. Let's see if I can remember them all:
1. Oh my gosh, DERPY just talked! How delightful! Eh, people were offended? But she's so adorable.. Oh well it's on the internet forever so you can't exactly take it away. She'll be gone in the DVD box set but always there in our hearts.
2. Another Alicorn!? But it's always been just Luna and Celestia. Oh and more attempts to sell toys, my goodness this is just..wait, changelings? A huge battle scene where Twilight is used as a gattling laser? Cadance is actually likeable? A quality villain and enjoyable story? Oh well alright then, as many alicorns as you like though no more mystery siblings for Twilight.
3. Awwww, a cease and desist for Fighting is Magic. A tough blow, I had wanted to try it. Oh, they'll get to make a new game with Lauren's help? How wonderful!
4. Wait your going to make Twilight an Alicorn already? Well I suppose that's alright after all she is Celestia's apprentice for a reason after all. Not like their hasn't been fan art of this since season 1, am I right? Wait, why is everypony so angry?
5. A movie! But no ponies... Or wait, okay, some ponies. Oh, well that's...not what I'd want for a movie but I'll give it a try. Glad you released that second trailer cause the first wasn't very good at selling it.

Alright I think that's about it for all the freak outs and so forth. Suppose I have to wait for the new season to start to catch some of the fresh ones when they come. My bets for season 4? From the animatic Apple Family song I think Pinkie Pie is marrying into the Apple Family and she's off to start a new life together with them. Probably Pinkie+Mac but it might be Pinkie and Applejack. Probably not Granny Smith or Applebloom. ;)
