1457666 Because of the existence of psychopathologies or because of the way they are seen in the overly-ignorant mass' eyes? Either way; I'm not meaning to pick a fight here, but I do not tolerate misanthropy. I abhor it. It is, to put it bluntly, disgusting.

It is one thing, to acknowledge both our bad and good deeds, as a species. Another completely different one is to generalize, grouping everyone in one, well, group and have the word hate (written in red, bolded and with a hastily-done underline) be arrow-pointed towards it. Exactly like the case presented; it's ignorant and, to be honest, a very sheltered way of thinking.

Dreaming of dystopias is a waste of time equal to dreaming of utopias. Except if you're writing about them, of course.
