    Not Dead

Not dead, still writing. Things may become even worse because I've finally found employment (Software stuff), but things are definitely progressing for both stories. So assuming there's anyone still following me (why?) - rejoice, I guess?

    I require a new editor

Due to time issues on their own part, my previous editor (the ever-illustrious xIMPERSONATORx) has chosen to retire, and I wish them all the best.

However, this means I will be needing a new editor. If anyone would be interested in doing so, then please don't hesitate to send me a message! I would really appreciate it.

If you like Helper Monkey, why not take a look at my other story?

It's called The Curious Case of The Queen of Hearts, and it's a small side project I'll be going back to now and then.

Don't worry, it won't replace my main story. New chapters for HM will be written. Heck, the next one is right now!

I'm still here, and still working on the next chapter. Kinda. Sort of. It's on my computer.

Okay, so I'm a little behind. For which I truly am sorry. But I'm still progressing with it! I've started this thing and by god I'm going to finish it!

But the thing is, although I have this chapter all planned out, I could easily split it into two if I wanted. There's a part in it that could easily act as a stopping point for the chapter / springboard for the next one. And maybe it would even feel more natural to read that way? And granted, the second half would be noticeably shorter than the first half (which would probably be around the 3k word mark), but perhaps it would work out better than everyone waiting for another long time and receiving one big chunk at the end?

Which would you prefer? Have it split into two parts, with the first half's release not that far off, or wait and receive both as one, larger piece?

I prefer shorter chapters.

i would prefer one big piece

I'd like a shorter chapter, if that's all right. This fic hasn't updated in a while, so it'd be nice to see a little progress.

Larger chapter.
If you don't update constantly, small chapters make the story difficult to keep track of.
Readers need to get caught up again.

If splitting the chapters would make the flow of the story feel significantly more natural, I would prefer that. Otherwise, I don't have any strong feelings one way or the other.

Cut the bitch in half!!!! Yeah!!!!
