Alright! Finally, a blog post not just letting you know about a story I just wrote!
Nope. For now, I wanted to share some ideas that I want to work on soon. I'm still focusing on "First Dawn" but I want to decide what I'm going to write next. Nopony says I have to finish what's in progress before starting something new!
Here's what's going through my mind right now:
-Pinkie Pie plans the Grand Galloping Gala. Finally sick of the formalities of the Grand Galloping Gala, Princess Celestia appoints Pinkie Pie the head planner. How will the nobles and upper class react? And will Pinkie be able to pull off the biggest party of her life? [Comedy] [Random] [Slice of Life]
This would certainly be something new for me. Most of my stories are sad and introspective, but I want to try something new. Expand my horizons and all.
-Twilight and the healing spell. There are all sorts of magic spells...but very few that can heal ponies, and none that can save a pony from the brink of death. After Fluttershy suffers a snake bite while in the Everfree Forest, Twilight dedicates all her time to inventing a spell that can save her, not realizing what implications success would mean. [Sad] [Adventure?]
A more ethical story. Such a spell would allow unicorns to "play God" so to speak (I refuse to substitute Celestia for God)
-Princess Celestia executes a convicted serial murderer. The Princess loves to revel in her power, but only when the time is right. What better time than tormenting and killing a pony who deserves it? [Dark]
Yeah...grim dark for the sake of grim dark. I've wanted to write one for a while.
These are your choices! Let me know what you think! Or suggest your own! YOU HAVE THE POWER (actually, you don't. I'm going to write what I want. But I still love attention and feedback :P)
FIRST!!......ahem, sorry. needed to be done. as for my oppinion.... the third sounds the most interesting. i like stories that go into celestias unknown personality. the pinkie one sounds a bit too much like people hating on pinkie but with pinkie being pinkie everyone is happy in the end(if you can add some really nice twist i can see it working well). as for the twilight healing one, im not sure. depends on how you do it, would be great or horrible, cant see it being ok so if you do choose this dont mess up and it will be fine. and as for unrelated pictures:img.ponibooru.org/_images/33a73a1abb5e6981c811b506510c6e85/98346 - adorable animated fluttershy gif.gif
Okay, so. In my opinion:
- the first one sounds funny. Might be a nice story to read.
- the second one sounds... interesting. Also something I'd like to read, but after the first one.
- The third one... no. Just no. Might be because I'm not into grimdark stories, but this doesn't make sense even for a grimdark fic.
That's it. I gave you my opinion; feel free to use it as you wish.
Not that big a fan of the third one (although if said murderer had been caught trying to kill Twilight it could prove to be very interesting as you could go back and forth with Celestia trying to comfort Twilight and dealing with the murderer).
The first idea would also be an interesting read.
