Well, I feel properly featherbrained. The tablet I type on during the weekends can't handle the paragraph breaks I put in chapter two of Pegasus Tears. As such, I can't finish it for a week. As an apology, here's a teasing taste of the second series I plan to make.
Everypony know of Pinkie Pie's foalhood on the Pie family rock farms, and of her years as Ponyville's premier partily pony. But what did she do between those two times? With no proper training, where did she learn to bake professionally? With no genius traits, where did she develop her psychic abilities? And where does an Earth pony learn to manipulate reality with no magic horn?
All these questions are brought up when Pinkie's mentor arrives in town to extend his congratulations: her longest trial is over and she can resume her training in the ancient, powerful, and delightfully absurd arts of Shugakain. Twilight Sparkle and Spike tag along with Pinkie as she departs for the Neighppon region of Equestria, determined to chronicle their friend's ascension to masterhood in the silliest form of combat in existence.
