Inspireative Content - When The Skies Are Proud

For this blog series I am going to be posting whatever content inspired the story that I am writing or have written. I don't know what I hope to achieve with this, maybe other authors can look upon this and get some inspiration themselves. Who knows? Some will be conversations between me and another person, others could be images or segments of videos. It matters not. De todos modos, here is the conversation that sparked When The Skies Are Proud... I'll censor it as best I can, but my brother and I get really loose when we talk together... as in we swear a heap.

Conversation between me and my brother:

You remember The Risks of Braving a Storm?

No I can't say I do.

It's the story in which an OC titanic motherbucker of a Pegasus is introduced to Ponyville… He falls for RD blah blah blah Tragic back story… The thing is… Is that it's the second story in a five (so far) layered romance book thingy…

Sounds awfully uninspired...

Only… One problem… It has one hell of a revenge plot. You see… This character 'Proud Skies' who is the 'technical' father to the Storm Blitz (I bucking know right?) character who is the protagonist. Basically, this PS character makes SB's live a living hell… After the event that SB got his cutie mark in Cloud agitating. What he does is turn an ordinary clound into that of a raging storm cloud. His friends basically said "Oh woah bro, dat s(tuff)z cool! I shud trai it… WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?!??!??!?!?!?!!??!??!??!?!?!?!?1/1?!?!/!/1/1/?1/!?/!/1/!/1/!" So they end up losing their power of flight and Storm Blitz is blamed and loses everything… Although his friends don't seem to mind…

So SB is essentially bucking-ANY little plothead, overly-emotional, thing with daddy issues that was written into existence by another hayseed with a keyboard (no, but seriously! [Kinda like Griffin]).

No… Not really… The thing is… is that he actually has an explanation for his bat shot wacky-ness. And he actually plays it pretty decently. You see. His father is Quakehoof. Another titanic motherbucker of an earth pony who is very well mannered and says 'Indeed' a lot.

So, in the case of the RD romance, She is used a plot (hehe plot) devise for fixing up her bucked up boyfriend SB?

Quite the opposite actually, the bucked up boyfriend thing is actually a subplot… he he plot… to the Romance between the two… He is still a buckward when it comes to mares… so there's that

So he is simply feeding her obvious superiority complex that is obnoxious and annoying?

Sortamaybekinda. He is there to stroke her titanic motherbucker of an ego… So yeah.

So do all of this guy's stories, end with psudeo-sex/death?

Mostly sex... Except the SB one the le sexytimes is right in the smack bang… Hehe bang… middle of the story.

Fantastic, so everyone gets laid and the author has some new material to viciously jerk off to read and enjoy.

Actually it's Teen rated… So basically the story ends with… AND THEN THEY BUCKED!

So what does this have to do with anything?

Well, as much as I like revenge fics, I love redemption fics much more...

And?

Well, I'm going to redeem the buck outa PS!
