I don't, if ever, self-promote myself. However, Peeled Apart and Affairs of the Heart is completed. I find it is somewhat deep and a good read. So, if you haven't checked it out then do so with any free time you can spare. There is a prequel to it, too. If you don't, I'm fine with that.

Congratulations on finishing another story
I'm doing fine, but it's been a long time since I wrote anything pony-related. I miss it. I kinda want to write something for Halloween, but I have no inspiration
1409054 Thanks! The tie-ins were a little difficult to make them flow correctly and build off of each other.
For Halloween? How about some fun with Pinkie Pie dressing up in some sort of humorous costume, running around with little colts and fillies (maybe even Pound Cake or Pumpkin Cake)? It could be anything such like a caterpillar or Slendermane.

1410928 Yep, I'm doing fine aside from the dream I had two nights ago where a shark was trying to eat me.
Also, Snivypony had an excellent suggestion of Celestia offering an apology so I added that snippet into the story's end likening to some colorful and tasty sprinkles on delicious ice cream. Sorry, that comparison was the first thing that came to my mind.
