I've been on this site for almost a year, and so far I've got 3 stories (4 if you count Lil Fabio ... though no one counts Lil Fabio). Recently, however I've been thinking about a new story. At first I was trying to think of some deep, meaningful title that would express the story's intent, but then I thought screw that. I hereby present to you the title of my possible new story ...
Beat Bot’s Gender-bending Adventure.
It's kind of a working title, if you have anything better feel free to suggest it. The idea for this story came about when I realized that there were very little Gender-bending fics on this site. I don't mean r63 or people meeting the gender opposite counterpart or anything like that, what I'm planning is simply waking up one day and realizing you're a mare. This idea was inspire by a lot of gender-bending manga like Kampfer, and Asuka Hybrid, and Ranma 1/2 and I thought it would be interesting. There would be a great deal of romance in this fic and perhaps occasional, very rare, sex scenes (I've never written sex scenes before).
The story would be mostly OC's, with some canon character's in the background at times. The essential plot of the story would be Beat Bot (one of my OC's and my avatar) is in love with one of his best friends, a mare, (another of my OC's) named Pixel Painter. They work at a small games company with (a third OC) Vivid Script who is also Beat Bot's roommate. Beat Bot is trying to find ways to get closer to Pixel and confess his feelings yet one day after going over strategies he goes to sleep only to wake up as a mare. The gender-bending would be similar to Ranma where whenever he gets turned on he changes, so he keeps switching back and forth between a stallion and a mare. His problem is that now as a girl he can get close to Pixel, though he can't use any of that info as she would wonder how his stallion self would know. Standard rules of gender-bending manga apply at this point if anyone's read any.
I was wondering what everyone out there, or at least everyone who comments on these, thought of this idea. Any thoughts you may have on the matter are welcome, please feel free to speak your mind freely.

1386722 It's actually a very common theme in Manga. Japan's never seemed to have as much of an issue with transsexualism like they do here in the states. Ranma had an (albeit unwilling) transsexual as it's main character all the way back in the early 90's, and the genre has kept increasing since then.
