Okay, here's the explanation, and the plan. · 6:26am Sep 15th, 2013
First of all, it's been almost two months since the last chapter of The Elder Scrolls: Equestria. That is too long, and unacceptable. My readers deserve better than that and I vow that the next chapter will be out quicker.
Now, the reason this has taken so long is because of my usual writing methods. While I plan out big events in my stories, such as Caro's awakening as Dragonborn, or the epic duel in the Rainbow Palace, I usually just wing the in-between. Unfortunately, because I don't take the time to plan ahead there, I tend to take longer to figure out what to write.
It also doesn't help that this chapter is the longest one yet. How long? Well, I estimate 20,000 words by the time I'm finished.
Damn, right?
Now, my plan is to get this finished as soon as possible, as I am on the final stretch. Then I will immediately begin work on Chapter 29. If all goes well, I'll have it uploaded by the anniversary of The Elder Scrolls: Equestria's initial upload. That's September 27th.
Look forward to Chapter 28: The Beast Remains, coming soon.
So. I have a goal to finish that before then...
But. May I ask?
Why such long chapters?
