    Signs of Life

Neither I nor Millennium Wake (part II) are dead.

    Yet.

As some of you may have noticed, bad things happen when I set down a timeline.
Therefore, I am specifically not saying that I expect to have chapter 2 (26) finished by the end of next week.

Speculation (the other other road not taken)

The other day I received an interesting prompt from Regreme,

how do you think it'd be possible for the Elements of Harmony to be swapped in different ways due to changes to their lives as fillies?

The future is soon-ish (Millennium Wake pt II news)

I'm assuming everyone here has read Millennium Wake (now 'part I'). If not, that's a link, go do yourself a favor and read it.

I'm also going to assume that you know I've agreed to continue the story, six weeks ago. I make a lot of assumptions, it's a thing.

    The Shy Baboon

I was listening to a podcast from RADIOLAB when I noticed that the primatologist being interviewed reminded me a little bit of Flutterhy. So I listened, and the more I heard, the more I was struck by the similarities in her voice, her attitudes about animals and people, and her diet (it only makes sense if you listen to the podcast). The episode in question

    Anypony read Brust?

That would be writer Steven Karl Zoltán Brust, author of Jhereg and the other books of the Vlad Taltosh series, along with quite a few others, but it's the world of Dragaera I'm concerned with right now.

If you haven't I suggest them, but that's not why I'm writing this blog.

Thank you for your patience. The first chapter of the continuation is being finished, and I intend to submit it to FiMFICTION on Wednesday.
I'm serious this time. No, really.

At the moment my goal is to put out a new 4-6k chapter every three weeks. Not the most thrilling pace, but it's something I can do, and it should keep you all from going into withdrawals again. I agreed to continue this story because I love the setting and characters, please join me as we see where they go from here.

I wish you the best of luck with this.

I would like to say again my support in this venture, whenever you so need it.

my body is ready:flutterrage: let the story continue:yay:

Looking forward to it!

At least you are not an ass.

I'm quite excited. I've been following Millennium Wake for longer than I've had an account here :twilightblush: Can't wait to see what's next! :pinkiehappy:

1339580 Opinions differ :facehoof: But thank you.

...assuming... *giggle*
Buck up! Carrying on a story not your own to begin with is a tall task. Take all the love and help you can get. Really - get some help or a proofreader or two. Still I believe you are capable of writing this. Not because you are tall man (or are you?). No. You are a fanfiction writer! Who is actually good enough write an entertaining story based on ponies? You are. I should really read Millennium Wake. It's on my list of fanfiction recommended by a dead woman. She is my friend and I never got around to read that.

Every three weeks or so is not that long for an update. The typical wait time for an update on my favorite stories is about two months. I can easily wait three weeks. Though I would think it neat if you did a recap of what happen in Part 1. :pinkiehappy:
