A quick status update

Hey everybody,

Just a quick update to let you all know that yes, I'm still alive and yes, I'm working on the next chapter of "Wings of Tomorrow ~ Lament of the World". I was hoping to have it done today, but sadly I couldn't meet that goal because the chapter ended up becoming even longer than I had already anticipated it to be. The chapter currently counts 11.000 words, and at this point I'm estimating the final word count of this chapter to wind up around 14 to 15.000, which will make it the longest chapter I've ever written in the nine years I've spent writing fanfics.

I apologise for the extremely long delay, but at the very least readers of the story will have an extra long chapter to look forward to to make up for the wait. When I post the next chapter, I'll also be making an announcement regarding the pace with which I update the story and the future of the story itself. If that sounds important, it's because it will be, but don't worry, I'm not going to announce the end of the fic or anything.

So, that's about all I think I had to say. Expect the next chapter sometime later this week. That's no hollow promise this time, the chapter is about 90% finished at this point, so it will be posted this week. Count on it. Screw that, didn't make it after all.
