So! I have started writing again. This next chapter is going to be LONG. I'm almost at 6k words and I don't think I've even hit the half way point. Brilliant Point and Demon Eyes Laharl are keeping me to task on writing and I will keep everyone updated as to the status of it. Despite the long pause between updates I'd like to think that I put a lot of effort into the holes and gaps in my story such that things will be even higher quality when I post the first chapter. I am probably going to have to split this up into two different chapters. If I were to leave it as a single chapter it will probably be in excess of 20k words with all I want to cover.
Rest assured Hiro and Lumi's story is far from over.
Besides that things move on, business is moving forward, real life blah blah blah, when do I get ponies? I know how it works. SOON!
Besides that I am part time helping out B4ssXCello with his story, Final Fantasy: It's Discord's Fault! by B4ssXCello, which will hopefully take a very comedic and tongue-in-cheek look at the old world of NES era RPGs via ponies. Because ponies make everything better right?
Ok, if there's interest as well I will put up links to the early edited version once it's ready for my story so people can yell at me as well and you can see what garbage I am writing down and attempting to pass off as a story.

Sitting around in a gdoc file because I was never happy with how it turned out. Then I started my own business and my editors got a real life and I slacked.
I suppose part of the problem, outside of general life busy stuff is that I know how the whole story goes, I've got it laid out but I don't really write for fans, I do it for myself. Thus it's a lot harder for me to force myself to do all the detail work. I'd feel lame about giving such an excuse but this is a hobby.
That said a certain asshole who I edit for (DEL) has been inspiring me as of late. Who know if I'll continue with Hiro and Lumi or go on to something new. I feel though that the fandom has produced more stories that deal with the interspecies relationship a lot better so I don't know if I feel as compelled to put this story out as I did before.
Looking kinda bleak... How sad.
Came here from Demon Eyes' page, and was happy for more human. Sad to run into another basically canceled story. I also see your profile description, so at least I know why.
Well, I guess all I can say is I'm sad to see another artwork halted, and artist.

Yeah sorry man, work caught up to me and it's not necessarily a story that I think would have done well in the long run. Well at least back then, now stories that focus on relationships more seem to be much more popular even as sometimes I feel that the fandom wanes. I still have all my notes for the whole story, and the outline from beginning to end but, work + international travel has kind of eaten up a lot of my free time.

Nice to see a response, and yeah I totally get what you're talking about. Real life has a tendency to eat up time for other things, and I fully understand that.
I'm going to give you a follow, still, because I feel like I'd like to be around if you try to put your hand at anything in the future.
