So, figured I'd start with this warning from now on: Though my posts will have language, they aren't NSFW I don't think, but the content that I mention (but don't link to you anymore) might be NSFW, and I will probably mention details about it that could involve talk about sex.

Now, a couple of things.

First, started work today, so yay. 40 hours a week, $8.15/hour. Not bad, considering I live with parents while putting myself through college, so no rent and utilities because they're awesome like that. I can basically save all of what I earn for stuff.

Second, the fics as usual.

Taking it Slow
A nice Appledash fic. I have a weak spot for well-written fics in general, but particularly for four pairings: Appledash, Rarijack, TwiDash, and TwilightPie. And this one was nicely done. You'll find I'm much pickier about grimdarks, and therefore not as many will make it here.

My Curse
Rarijack where Applejack is, for some reason, dying. Touching, liked this one a lot.

For the Better
After an incident where the EoH bearers almost die, especially Twilight, and only the elements save them, Applejack realizes Twilight is holding them together by being the Element of Magic. She decides she needs to help Twi become stronger physically as well. It's worded much better and much more eloquently, and is a really emotional story that seems to be slowly but naturally forming into a TwiJack - not one of my favorites, but I don't dislike any ships really (though FlutterDash is INCREDIBLY overdone in my opinion.

Candy Girl
This one was... wow. It's a TwistXSpike (Twist, the background character who was friends with Applebloom in that one episode in season one, has a lisp and glasses, remember? Yeah, I thought you would.) and it's messed up. Twist ends up running into Spike one day and instantly likes him. She actively tried to learn more about him and get close to him, only liking him more when he saves her from bullying by Tiara and Silver Spoon. After being saved, she finds she's wet and, not knowing about sex yet, assumes she peed herself and runs away in shame. She drops something, Spike finds an address on it, delivers it to her, finds her alone at home... things get a little heavy, and Twist is now obsessed with Spike. I think that's a good description without ruining the whole thing.. it's still ongoing and incomplete, so more to come. I can only imagine this ending badly... just, go read it. It's labeled as dark and romance, with a mature rating for sex and language.
