Gonna be honest with you....

I'm kind of getting sick and tired of seeing Berry Punch portrayed as Ponyville's resident drunkard. Seriously people, alcoholism isn't that funny at all.

The fandom can be a bit... extreme in some matters.
Like portraying Derpy as a retard, I myself am not found of that.
In my story, I just portrayed Berry as a pony who knows how to drink properly, not a drunktard like everyone think she is.

1157 And you know what the sad part is: there's absolutely nothing I can do about it. I can rant and rant on how Berry Punch isn't an alcoholic, but people are still going to draw her passed out with a bottle of scotch.

I can explain how LyraxBonBon isn't canon, but people are going to draw them making out and conceiving weird magical lesbian hell spawns.

I can argue that just because Rainbow Dash acts tough and has a rainbow man, she isn't automatically a lesbian, but people are just going to draw her laying with Pinkie, Applejack, Fluttershy, etc.

I feel like a minority in this fandom.

Don't let yourself be "cataloged" in groups such as minority/majority.
Just be and do what's comfortable with you.
The shippings will never cease. But that doesn't mean that you've failed at something. Just don't let it get to your nerves: Trolls love this (and you'll just bring unwanted attention toward yourself).

I for one, am very open to any kind of story. Be it rape/gore/trauma/super duper sad/crossover/happy/slice of life/romance/love/etc.
I think about like this: It's all a play. While the story goes on, believe in it. When the story ends: POOF; back to reality.

1372 True, I really don't mind the shippings. I just hate it when the hardcore shippers start saying that a certain pairing is canon in the show and will defend that theory to the death.
