Many Apologies · 7:16am Sep 3rd, 2013
....'Sup? I know it's been awhile since I've updated Learning to Fly and because of that....I think I'm gonna put it on Hiatus.
The reason for this is because I'm not really feeling motivated enough to continue it right now. I mean, with all my stories, I write them pretty much blind except for a small part that I envision which leads me to write the story in the first place. With this story, it was the scene of Scoots and Fluttershy's picnic with Dash lookin' on jealously. Now that I've gotten that done...I'm not entirely sure where I want to take the story. I mean, I've got an idea, but I dunno...
So while this story's on Hiatus, I'mma work on somethin' else for a bit, see if I can't get some ideas for Learning to Fly. My deepest apologies to those of you following the story and who were waiting for the next update....But I swear to Luna's moon that I WILL finish it. I won't forget about it, I swear... v.v
I haven't started reading Learning to Fly yet, because I normally refrain from starting stories when they are not finished. But I totally intend to, Scoots is just cute!
Well, 'tis a pity, but I won't complain if you need some time to sort things out.
Just do it, filly. As a fellow improv writer, I find the more you reread your story, there's a good chance something is going to sort of form from the mists of where you want to take it. You can also call on editors, or friends, to kind of give you ideas. Sometimes, just shooting bullshit with my editor leads to an entire outline, if only because the stuff we're throwing around actually sounds pretty good.
